I had that problem with VRPC-ADjustSA RISC OS 6.20 on Windows 7.

And when I changed VRPC version...

I also had the problem with VRPC-DL RISC OS 6.20 on Win 7, and I also get
it now on VRPC-DL RISC OS 6.20 on Win 10.

For a while I started using the Mail server addresses rather than the
names and that sorted the problem. (Like 86.54. etc...)

However, in recent times I put back the pop.whatevermail.co.uk names and
it has not been too bad... Just the occasional failure to resolve the
Hostname. (Reboot Windows and VRPC).

This VRPC Resolver problem has dogged users for a lot of years but appears
to have been ignored by the owners of VRPC.

I guess there's no lolly to be had for solving problems and updates now.
