And don't forget that the menu of PDFtest includes "Display > Bitmap" 
(keyboard shortcut ^B).  That option is a valuable fall-back when the PDF 
document depends on fonts other than the standard Trinity, Homerton and 
Courier -- music fonts are a prime case.  Or if you see an apparently 
blank document, try ^B and you might be surprised.

It's needed seldom enough that some users forget about the bitmap option.
