Thanks for that, Steffen. Having added  bf8 and mp4 to the list, at least I
now see the contents of a Windows directory in RO showing .mp4 files as
MPEGs. 
However, if I copy a received .mp4 clip into that window in RO, it shows it
as a Data file with its original name xxxx/mp4
The other .mp4 files in that directory are shown with the MPEG icon but the
names are shown with no extension.
If I now view this same directory in Windows, the newly copied over file is
shown as a Data file and named xxx.mp4.dat   In order to run it it has to
be renamed by removing the .dat

Have I got the right configuration set? I have Tools> Options> HostFS> the
'No Types' box is ticked. I thought this was supposed to ensure that files
copied to Windows did NOT have their file names changed on transfer. Have I
got the wrong end of the stick here?
