In my case, it's *me* that's slow. I usually double-click
on the icon pinned to the task bar while forgetting it only
needs a single click. Very occasionally, after a complete
reinstall, I'll forget to remove the desktop short cut and
double-click it while VRPC is already running but minimised
on the task bar.

This is a vanishing problem now that I have a fully-
functioning ARMX6. VRPC on the desktop only gets occasional
use now but I rely on it on the laptop when away from home.
