Yes Inkscape does work, on a Mac but a bit clunkily, and it is the only way to get SVG files in vector format into ArtWorks via a PDF save out of Inkscape.

Not totally true as there are a few websites that provide vector images in SVG format.

But it would be nice if Artworks loaded, as well as saved, SVGs.
