Another case of "Oops! Did I really leave that option enabled?" - just as on
the Bristol list.

(And worse: I didn't even notice when I *replied* to a message with a digest
subject line! D'oh!)

On the other list, I gave people fair warning to change their mailing list
settings before I'd override them and disable digests - then promptly forgot
to disable digests for quite some time (over a year IIRC).

So this time, I'm not bothering with a warning - I'm just making the change.
If you were previously receiving messages from this mailing list in Digest
form, I've now changed that setting on your subscription, and disabled the
digest option.

There might be one more digest consisting of any posts (those before this
point in this thread?) since the last digest was sent out - but that should
be it.

Aside: If those people who'd opted to receive digests were using Pluto, they
could have configured it to 'Split Digests', which (when I was subscribed to
a mailing list many years ago that _only_ came in digests) it did a pretty
good job of.
