It won't work at all unless your PC has a USB3 interface, though I suppose
you may be able to get one on a slot-in card.  

Will it improve VRPC?  Dunno.  Is your machine so short of memory that it's
paging a lot?  If so TBH I'd have thought more RAM would be a better place
to start.  

Do the graphs etc in Task Manager's 'Performance' tab show that your page
file is being used a lot?  There is much more detailed performance data
available in Control Panel -> Admin Tools -> Performance though of course
collecting some of the detailed data will itself cause a performance hit.
