[Virtualacorn-list] USB3 sticks to speed up VA?

I read that a USB stick can be inserted into a PC to help speed up
certain things, like when the PC shunts stuff to Hard-drive, for
instance, as temporary store. It's a MicroSoft thingy, but mostly
forgotten about now.

But USB 2 sticks are pretty slow for that use now anyway.

But with the advent of USB3 sticks, potentially 12x faster than the
fastest USB2 sticks, would it now make sense to use one on a PC?

For example, to speed up certain operations of VA-RPC?

Has anyone any experience of this?

If so, did it speed up anything for you?

And how large a USB3 stick would be needed (to speed up VA-RPC)?
8GB? 16GB? 32GB?
