[Virtualacorn-list] VRPC & USB HDD

This may seem like an odd request, but I'm interested in people's opinons.

I run VRPC on a Riscube2 on an external IDE HDD. I recently bought my wife a
netbook & intended to copy my ROS HD4 & 5 to its HD over the network when we
travel abroad. To this end I have identical versions of VRPC on each
computer.

However, I have bought a 320Gb USB HDD. Smaller than a Bills & Moon paperback
(& much more interesting!)

So, now I'm thinking of copying the ROS HDs to the new HDD & use this on the
VRPC. The,n when we travel abroad, I would simply unplug the USB HDD & plug
into Netbook.

So, two things spring to mind...

Firstly, are there likely to be any issues using VPRC on a USB HDD?
Secondly, are there likely to be any issues using the ROS HDs on different
copies of VRPC (albeit the same version) bearing in mind the drives can only
be used on one m/c at any one time.

PS Both m/cs are running WinXP, but the netbook doesn't have a CD/DVD-ROM
drive.
