A new beta version of HostFS for VirtualRPC running under  Mac OS X
is now available from  :

This  Beta version provides much greater (up to 10x) file read and write
speeds.  This version has been tested on a number of machines but
as it's a Beta  release there may still be some undetected problems
on some machines. Only  install this Beta if you are happy testing
Beta releases and understand the  potential risks involved.

Installation instructions are in the zip  file.
