Yes and it works here too and a very nice utility it is.

It immediately brought up both (a) the large backup disk linked by
Firewire to the Mac and (b) a 2G USB stick plugged directly into the
Mac.

Somehow I need to integrate Mimemap with it but I can have a look at
that later.

I am not sure what it is supposed to do but storage devices made me
wonder if it would do anything with the scanner that is plugged into the
Mac by USB.  I have Imagemaster (sorry DPlngScan) and the Twain program
that I previously used on a Iyonix for scanning but they do not see the
scanner.  The scanner works on the Mac, though.  The Mac scanner program
is not currently running so it has not grabbed the device.

Perhaps I was hoping for too much!
