Hi all

A promotional flyer for this list is now practically ready for printing :-) (Yes, as well as creating the list, Vince has not only been designing a new logo but also sorting out the flyer design - he's really going to be in need of his upcoming holiday!)

As some of you may know, neither Vince nor myself are able to attend the imminent south west show on 20 Feb. Fortunately, Jim Nagel of Archive magazine has kindly agreed to have our flyers available on his stand at the show - thanks so much, Jim.

This message is to ask if anyone has any other ideas for places in the Bristol area to leave a few flyers.

- Do you know of a local computer/electronics club or society? (Also Tom, what about Bristol uni computing dept?)

- Would a local library or community centre be willing to stock our flyers?

- Do you know of a retro games club which may be interested? (e.g. http://www.thecornubia.com/Retro2.html - I've never been along myself, but have been thinking about it.)

- Do you know of a school which still uses Acorn/RISC OS machines? (Or one which used to do so and may have sympathetic staff/parents/governors who could read about the list in a school newsletter/magazine?)

All ideas welcome.

Note, as the list grows and we (hopefully) progress to our first meeting, more widespread press releases are planned!

Thanks

Trevor
