Sorry for your Woes John...
Strange business...

I've recently updated all four of our Win 10 computers to 1903 without any
major problems. (Only the usual Share things reset to MS defaults, but
that's a minor niggle).


No help to you I know, but I do sympathise, as a year or so ago a Win 10
update totally FU my machine requiring a complete reinstall. Grrrrr!

But since then all the updates have gone through okay.
