It is a nice simple Registry setting.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\services\W32Time\TimeProviders\NtpClient
SpecialPollInterval (in seconds)
A quick look here shows Windows 10 syncs daily and Windows 7 syncs weekly.
