There's definitely a PD for that printer for Vista, so that might work on
7 & 8. So the first step is install the driver & get the printer working on
Windows.

My Xerox is a networked printer, but I believe if you share any printer
connected to a PC, Windows will treat that printer as a networked one, too.

I assume you already have the printer working from VRPC, so you just need to
ensure that the name used in the printer configuration is the same as the
name in Windows. When I upgraded to W8 the printer was installed with a
different name (3 times as long!) than that used on XP.
