I am looking at my options hence the original question. One issue might be

Yes I had realised that.

Yes, I have used all these products. AVG+Zonealarm was my standard set up
but I moved to MSSE as it seemed simpler to use one product and appeared
to use less resources (The PC seemed quicker) We also had a paid for
version of Spybot but it became incompatible with AVG.
