Yes, we came across this when my wife got her new W7 machine about 18
months ago.

The Canon scanner had to be replced and there were no drivers for our
aging Canon S4500. However, this failed anyway shortly after the purchase
of the PC and had to be replaced with a more modern printer.

There were/are also isues with our Dell 2330 though some drivers are
available.
