My complete system is VA_RPC_SA_ Adjust, ARM7500 model, RO4.39.

If you are saying that I should delete the second [Ram] line where it
says

[Ram]
base=0x18000000
size=0Mb

which does indeed look superfluous, then I have just done so, just
now. (The '18000000' start-value would have put it slam bang in the
middle of the 256MB configured in the top one anyway)

My 'free + next' ram reads 210996K (at the moment)...
My 'system workspace' does indeed read 262144k
Screen memory reads '16000k'

I think it was set up badly from the start, when I first got the
computer, maybe 3 or 4 years ago now, can't remember.

Hopefully it is OK now.

[Although, strangely, !LinkCheck (by John Alldred, its BASIC file says
its version 1.33) no longer works, displaying an error -
'Please insert disc '~IYO4' which it never said before these current
[Ram] changes. [The real path its on is
HostFS::HardDisc4.$.~IYO4.~Mine.Programs.Utilities.TextFileUt.HTML.]

Nothing else (as found yet) claims it cannot find '~IYO4', and almost
EVERYTHING is on or above that directory (which is NOT a disc!).
