Thanks.
Sorry to be late replying. Life got in the way, as usual.
Also, my laptop reported at startup that the Ralink RaUI.exe could not start
as a .dll was corrupted. Looking on the internet showed that could also be a
sign of malware so I ran an Avast scan. That flagged up 4 problems which
Avast has quarantined in its "Chest". Didn't solve the problem so I used
CCleaner to stop Ralink running at startup. Seems to have cured the problem &
the wireless is OK so maybe Windows is controlling the wireless card & Ralink
is not needed.

I presume you mean updates subsequent to now, not subsequent to when I first
installed VA eons ago.

I've checked that the desktop shortcut, printing, ShareFS, !DrivePop,
Organizer cloning all work OK so everything seems hunky dory.

I wanted to free up some space. As the RiscPC is my main machine, it won't be
too devastating if anything untoward happens with VA.

I see some contributors to this list want to keep the main VA app on drive C
& put the HrdDisc elswhere. The way I did things my moving the whole lot
seems much simpler & far less fraught with problems.

Many thanks again for your help.
