The best way to become unfrightened is to install it, turn it on so it
always logs your boot process, and get used to it being there.

The app itself is surely not frightening?  I hope what daunts you is the
volume of info it produces in its log.  No-one requires /you/ to understand
what it all means; you can post snippets of a reporter log here and have
other people work out what it means.
