When my daughter bought her re-furbished Dell laptop, she unwittingly
chose a model that didn't have a CD drive. We networked it and "shared"
the CD drive of her desktop and loaded everything that way. I guess this
would also work here.

I'm ordering tonight over the web from CPC, so it should be despatched on
Monday and I will be requesting next-day because we go off to Ireland for
a week, on Wednesday. I'll be ordering a USB card reader (My camera uses
compact flash) and will put on some photo software so we can play while
we're away.

VA might just have to wait till we get back
