A few days ago Richard Brown rang me and asked if I could put the word out anywhere on behalf of Moss - my immediate thought was the Wessex group. Posting here is an afterthought. The problem is Moss currently has no way to get either himself or the stuff he'll be bringing with him - all the stuff for the charity stand - to the show. So I've asked of the Wessex group if anyone is able to head in Moss' direction in order to provide him and all that stuff to (and from) the show. As yet, I've seen a couple of replies saying they can't, and one asking whereabouts Moss is (answer: Bridgwater), but no actual offers. So the same question here: Is anyone on this list coming from that direction and would be able to offer Moss a lift to and from the show? I should add there is a degree of urgency about this; the show is now less than two weeks away, so obviously the sooner someone says they can do it, the better - but also people have apparently started asking if they can bring stuff to the show for the charity stand, but with no certainty about being able to get Moss there, there's no way to answer. And if nobody is able to help, the show won't have a charity stand. :( -- Vince M Hudd - Soft Rock Software - www.softrock.co.uk RISCOSitory - www.riscository.com From atdotcodotuk at dotcodotukat.co.uk Thu Feb 14 01:04:26 2019 From: atdotcodotuk at dotcodotukat.co.uk (Vince M Hudd) Date: Thu, 14 Feb 2019 01:04:26 +0000 Subject: [Bru-list] Extra meeting in February In-Reply-To: <5C544064.9010506@3rdevent.net> References: <74ae9f6f-ee45-ffa5-bfeb-acfa0d474ce0@dotcodotukat.co.uk> <2e37d9ec-a64a-4c99-cf5c-1b1de6224975@dotcodotukat.co.uk> <5C544064.9010506@3rdevent.net> Message-ID: <83c374dc-2660-522a-ff5a-665e9f7ae06f@dotcodotukat.co.uk> There haven't been many definite replies, and a couple of definite can't make its - so the actual numbers will probably be quite low. On that basis, there should be no problem with us meeting in the hotel bar and just wandering over to the Black Castle (if the bar doesn't do food). So that's the best plan, then. As an added complication, Michael Grunditz is flying in to Bristol Airport Thursday evening, and taking a shuttle bus into Bristol - having discussed it with him and Andrew, the plan is he'll take a shuttle that gets him to the Brislington Lidl (it stops at the A4174/A4 junction) and I'll nip up to pick him up from there and down to the hotel - probably somewhere around 8:30ish, subject to my remembering the time correctly, the plane landing on time, etc. So, those of you planning to come... see you tomorrow evening. -- Vince M Hudd Soft Rock Software - www.softrock.co.uk RISCOSitory - www.riscository.com From ian.a.nichols at gmail.com Fri Feb 22 13:41:23 2019 From: ian.a.nichols at gmail.com (Ian Nichols) Date: Fri, 22 Feb 2019 13:41:23 +0000 Subject: [Bru-list] SW show Message-ID: Hello all, Nice to see everyone who turned up there, and have a bit of a social in the BC afterwards.
