I mentioned it to Bryan up at Recursion, and he's happy with the
possibility (but so equally with the others) - and given that we're
talking about this coming Thursday, a decision has to be made.
I'm perfectly happy with it for Thursday - if nobody has any
objections, I'll put out a quick last minute announcement tomorrow evening.

Possibly - but I think more likely a related problem. If it was simply
that you were using the wrong address to send from, your message's
wouldn't come to my subscribed address - I'd get a notification to my
list-owner address of an attempt at posting from an address that isn't
subscribed.
So while, yes, you may very well have posted from the wrong address, you
still didn't post to the list. I suspect the problem was the bog
standard mis-click; a click on reply, rather than reply-list. (Very
common - I do it myself sometimes, and worryingly more often now than I
used to!)
Another factor may (or may not) be your version of Thunderbird. It's...
let's just say it wouldn't be out of place if it featured in an episode
of Digging for Britain*.
While I was away, I took a few minutes to update the list settings for
all the RISCOSitory lists to cope with annoyances like DMARC. The From
line now contains the list address, and the poster's address is in the
Reply-To - this may (or may not) help
