http://www.samuelsmithsbrewery.co.uk/

Seems they do Bottled Ales, I can remember seeing any hand pumps there.
Trouble with Ale is that it doesn't keep very well, like most
traditionally brewed drinks, so they'd need to be close to the brewery
ideally and the main two we have in our area are Bristol Beers and Bath
Ales.

To extend the pub list a little;

Central;
Graze off Queens Square (Bath Ales, although most of the tables are
allocated to the restaurant)
?Three Tuns, Hotwells (Sells Ale iirc)
?Three Sugar Loaves, Christmas Steps (Sells Ale, has tables out the
back, dunno about parking)

Over my side of the center, near Memple Teads;
*The Ship, Next to St. Mary Redcliffe Church (sell Gem Ale although
that's probably it for decent drinks, have a large back bit to the pub)
Portwall, Next to St. Mary Redcliffe Church (Think they play music)
Stag and Hounds Old Market (Haven't been in there)
Old Market Tavern (Haven't been in there)

Nearer Clifton;
*Portcullis, Hotwells (Tables upstairs, good variation of drinks)
Adam and Eve, Hotwells (Plays Music, bit pokey iirc)
The Bear, Hotwells (Dunno)
Rose of Denmark, Cumberland Basin (Bit pokey, dunno about drink selection)
The Mardyke, Hotwells (Play loud music and your feet will probably stick
the the floor :)
Hope and Anchor (Jacobs Wells road, although a bit pokey inside)
White Bear, Cotham (Plays Music, but I think they also have sport on ?)
Highbury Vaults, Cotham (Pokey inside, but the backyard is covered)
White Lion, Clifton Village (nice view of the bridge, shame about
everything else)
Coronation Tap, Clifton Village (I think mainly cider, pokey inside from
what I've seen )
Quadrant, Clifton Village (Dunno)
Zero Degrees, Park Row (Gets a bit school hall, although decent beers)

TBH, Hotwells is just about in staggering distance for me, but Clifton
and Cotham are a bit of a pain to get to although would probably be fun
if I had a bike or a skateboard. IMHO anywhere near Whiteladies/Redland
gets really busy because of students living there thanks to Bristol Uni.
